My five elements approach
In my growing up years, I was curious to know the significance of fire. Fire, was usually seen as oil lamps in temples and homes, used for veneration (aarti) during prayers, worshipped by our Parsi friends, above all used to cook food. However it bemused me how it was fire that burnt the dead bodies. Ever wondered why would Hindu cremate the dead by burning, while dead from other religions were either buried or left for other creatures to meal over it?
Eventually I learnt that a human body is made of and governed by 5 universal elements. On death of a human being, once the soul or life has left the body, it is returned back to these 5 elements. Wood on which the body is placed, represents element Earth, burnt in element fire, the smoke represents element Air, that merges into element Ether or Sky, and finally the ashes are released in the element Water (River or Ocean).
Our bodies and our lives on Earth are a dynamic mix of these 5 elements. My approach to my passion of healing and empowering is inspired by these 5 Universal elements.
Let’s look at what each element offers…
My five elements approach
In my growing up years, I was curious to know the significance of fire – saw it being lit as lamps in temples and homes, saw it being used for veneration (aarti) of gods, saw it illuminating beautifully ever charming and bright, but strangely same fire was used to even burn the dead bodies. Ever wondered why would Hindu cremate the dead by burning, while dead from other religions were either buried or left for other creatures to meal over it.
Finally my eagerness was answered and I learnt that a human body is made of and governed by 5 universal elements and hence upon death of a human life the body is returned back to these 5 elements : first the body a dead person is placed on woods, the represent element Earth, then it is burnt in element fire, the smoke represents the element Air, that merges into element Ether or Sky, and finally the ashes are released in the element Water (River or Ocean).
Interesting isn’t it? Even more interesting is the fact that amongst all these elements, Fire is an element that can transform the energy of anything back to universe.
Our bodies and our lives on Earth are a dynamic mix of these elements. My approach to my passion of healing and empowering is inspired by these 5 Universal elements.

“I was facing a lot of issues in my married life, I kept blaming myself for getting into a toxic marriage. After my separation, I faced fears, nightmares, anxiety, self-doubt and had issues in trusting and much more. The therapy sessions were helpful It made me think from a different perspective. I didn’t have to take medicines. It made me look at details that caused those emotions and overcome the disturbances. I will continue with sessions as I need that spark of light in me, and brings peace within, which we seek outside. I highly recommend Ms Deepali to whoever is in need please don’t hesitate.”
